Young turnip salad with apples and lemon dressing
1 cup grated raw young turnips
1 cup peeled and grated tart apples
½ cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  1. Toss the turnips, apples, cilantro, lemon juice, and vegetable oil in a large bowl.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for one hour.
